What is Hafnium wire

Hafnium wire is generally similar to zirconium. Gray crystals. Good corrosion resistance and high strength. Hafnium is used in filaments, electrodes, and some semiconductor fabrication processes for integrated circuits at 45 nm and smaller feature lengths. Formular: Hf.
Hafnium is a chemical element. A lustrous, silvery gray, tetravalent transition metal, hafnium chemically resembles zirconium and is found in zirconium minerals. CAS: 7440-58-6. Explosive in powder form, either dry or wet with less than 25% water. Tolerance, 0.5 mg/m3. Toxic by inhalation.  Compounds are also toxic. Atomic weight: 178.49 g/mol.
Custom manufacturer of aluminum, brass, copper, stainless, hi-temp & exotic alloys, titanium, precious metals & plastics. All shapes & sizes, tubing, foil, wire mesh & grating available.
